Aerial imagery shows what ground-level photos can't: the lot shape, the neighborhood, the distance to the lake, the ski runs, or the fairway. For view properties, lakefront homes, large lots, and acreage, drone photos are often the single most persuasive asset in the listing.

Legal, insured, compliant

Commercial drone work in the United States must be flown by an FAA Part 107 certificated remote pilot. Operators in our network hold current Part 107 certificates and carry liability insurance - which matters for you, because hiring an uncertified operator can expose an agent or brokerage to FAA enforcement risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is drone photography legal for real estate listings?

Yes - when flown by an FAA Part 107 certificated remote pilot, which is required by federal law for any commercial drone work. Every operator in our network holds a current Part 107 certificate and carries liability insurance.

Can drones fly near the airport or over Lake Tahoe?

Most of the Reno-Tahoe area is flyable, but locations near Reno-Tahoe International Airport and some controlled airspace require FAA authorization. Certified operators check airspace for every job and obtain LAANC authorizations when needed.

What happens if it's too windy to fly?

High winds ground drones for safety and image quality. When that happens, the aerial portion is rescheduled - usually within a few days - at no penalty.
